We love Uluru and The Outback, so we put together 20 photos to show you the best things to see and do on any trip to the Red Centre.
1. There is nowhere on earth quite like Uluru, the heart of Australia.
You have to go there to see what we mean. It’s a feeling.
2. The sunsets will blow you away.
The Northern Territory has some of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve seen anywhere in the world.
3. The night skies make you feel like you’re dreaming.
If you’ve never seen the milky way head for the NT. We saw it almost every night!
4. Red roads.
Red roads in the heart of Australia always made it feel like we were on an adventure!

6. The water holes are out of this world. Oh and they’re croc free too.
The Top End has some amazing waterholes too but we loved the ones around Alice which are beautiful and croc free.

7. Look into Australia's history through art that has existed for thousands of years.
You can see well preserved rock art very near to Alice, at Emily and Jessie Gaps.
8. Deserted hiking trails that look like this.
Trephina gorge is one of our favourite places in the NT, so good we went twice!

If you thought wild camels were only in the Middle East, think again!

In fact we liked the Valley of the Winds walk even more than the Uluru base walk!

Anyone else feel a road trip coming on?!
14. There’s luxury in the desert and it looks like this.
The only thing that got me out this desert jacuzzi was another incredible sunset!

Easily one of our favourite walks in the whole of Australia.
